WHO WE ARE
Scouts BSA Troop 899 of Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC​
In short, we are the Scouts BSA Troop in the Carolina Forest area of Myrtle Beach, SC. We are an all-boys troop ranging from 11- 18 years of age.

What do we do?
Our goal is to help develop young men into good citizens by following the aims and methods of Scouting. As a group, our Troop participates in weekly meetings, monthly campouts, yearly summer camp, and youth-specific training activities.
When and Where?
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for 11-18-year-olds that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help youth become the best versions of themselves. Troop 899 meets most Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the cafeteria at Ocean Bay Middle School located at 905 International Dr. Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. What are we working on now?
Troop 899 is very excited to welcome the 14 Scouts that chose to crossover into our Troop from both Pack 850 and Pack 899 ! We are working hard to get them acclimated into our Troop and help them achieve their Scout Rank!

Now we start to prepare for Summer Camp at Camp Bowers in White Oak, NC. Our Scouts are working hard to finalize any rank requirements before our upcoming Court of Honor, get ready for the upcoming Order of the Arrow Elections, and our summer activities. Many exciting things are happening in Troop 899!
